I am a front-end web developer, UI/UX architect, video gamer, hiker of mountains, and lover of all sports. I have been working as a web developer for the Univeristy of Georgia's Marketing and Communications Division over a year and a half. Working at UGA has really driven my hunger to learn as much as I can in the industry to make their web presence a leader in the higher-ed sector. I have been actively involving myself in every day learning and innovating our tech stack with the vast amount of new tools being created for the web. I love learning new software that challenges my critical thinking and also going back to enhance skills I have been working on for years.
I grew up in the flat lands of rural Iowa until I was about 18 years old. Since then, I have lived near the Appalachian Mountains and hiking has become one of my favorite hobbies. When I am not exploring new trails, I also genuinely enjoy watching and playing sports. I was on the rugby team for the University of South Carolina, where we were ranked one of the top 25 teams in the country every season I played. Sports have been a centralized part of my life, and fueled the competitive edge that I have brought to my professional working career.
With my broad design background paired with my development skills, I am excited to help build exquisite websites and applications that will help make the internet more appealing and interactive for us all!
